Jeff Gorden sets a new sale price record with the sale of Eagle Canyon Storage in Phoenix, Arizona. The self-storage facility, formerly known as Camelback Self Storage, sold December 18, 2017 for $17,500,000 which becomes the new high watermark for a single self-storage property in Arizona.
The property spans just over four-and-a-half acres and provides 754 units of drive up and climate controlled self-storage. Jeff Gorden and Kyle Topper of Eagle Commercial Realty Services represented the private, Phoenix-based, seller in this transaction and led a targeted marketing campaign sourcing numerous potential buyers and multiple offers. Ultimately, a Phoenix-based buyer presented the winning offer.
The sale of this property involved highlighting positive outlooks of the surrounding area and increasing occupancy trends at the property. Though this was an unusual sale, our depth of experience in self-storage properties, deal structure, resources and the industry contacts of our team benefitted all parties involved. In the end, Buyer and Seller were both very pleased with the results and are looking forward to new projects.
