Alex Ihrke is a leading broker with Area Storage Advisors and a member of the Argus Self Storage Advisors network, representing self storage owners throughout Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, and South Dakota. With more than seven years of dedicated experience, he has played a role in over 80 self storage transactions totaling more than $215 million, earning a reputation for clear guidance, strong market expertise, and client-focused results.

Alex graduated from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree in Finance. He applies his financial background and understanding of the Upper Midwest markets to help owners evaluate opportunities, optimize operations, and achieve maximum value when selling. Based in Minneapolis, Alex enjoys spending time outdoors and making music as a self-taught guitar player in his free time.
